What Parents say....
We have been with Little Handprints since 2016. Finding Mrs. Shaleese has been the best thing that has ever happened to my family. My child was 18 months old, I had just went back to work full time and my husband and I were having a hard time finding a provider that we were comfortable with. I was referred to Little Handprints through a family friend. The rates were awesome so we were open to the idea instantly. When we did our tour of the in home child care, we were in love. Mrs. Shaleese dedicated multiple rooms in her home that were very kid friendly. In our first week of care, like any other parents we were nervous. Mrs. Shaleese knew this and took it upon herself to send us updates on how our child was doing, what he ate for the day and even cute pictures of him interacting with the other kids. We knew this was were we wanted to be. One of our wants in a daycare was education. Every month the kids have a lesson plan/curriculum that they learn. One month my child came home and knew everything there was to know about safety; who to call in case of an emergency, what to do if you are on fire all the way down to how to put out fires. I loved it! By the time our son was 3 he knew his colors and how to count to 10 in Spanish. That's definitely something we didn't teach him lol. The ladies at Little Handprints take pride in our children's development and that's something you can't put a price on. Before covid the kids would go on adventures too. They would go to different parks in the area, the library for story time, field trips to the movies and even holiday
trips to the pumpkin patch. There has been several times when my family has had to make adjustments with our schedules and Mrs. Shaleese is always accommodating. In 2020 I gave birth to my second child and was so worried about sending the kids to daycare due to COviD-19. Little Handprints Childcare took necessary precautions for our little ones to be as safe as possible. We have all been fortunate to not have any cases.

I started a new job in September and was sad to have to leave my babies throughout the day but the moment I walked into Shaleese's home I knew they were going to be just fine. Pretty much all of Shaleese's downstairs home is set up marvelously for children. My son (3 at that time) went straight to the train track and was even more excited once Shaleese showed us her backyard. My daughter was 17 months when we started so there were difficulties in getting her to adapt but within a month and a half she was happy to walk in all by herself. I should also note the huge smiles I see on their faces every time I pick them up. There's no better feeling than knowing your kids are in great hands- or maybe its just with Shaleese and her assistants! 10/10 Recommend!!!

Deciding for a daycare is a huge decision especially when my daughter Amara was only 6 months
old. I appreciate the structure, caring, safe education environment and healthy eating. When my
second daughter was born, she also went to Shaleese at 3 months old. I can't express enough gratitude towards Shaleese and her daycare. Shaleese and her staff cared for my daughters for 5 years. Thank you for your love and care towards my girls, you were their home away from home.

Awesome!! My son has learned respect and to listen.
He actually was a model child at Little Handprints and rarely got in trouble there a lot different than when he was at home lol. And I know this is because of the wonderful structure and clear setting of expectations from the outset. She also has an outstanding curriculum for the kids - so at an early age he learned colors and alphabet and
numbers etc. He learned to write at an early age. But he learned soooo much more about so many things. She has a curriculum that trains the students well for kindergarten and I have been told by others that the curriculum at Little Handprints put our children in a great position even to transfer to the private preschools in the area and for kindergarten (they know a lot more about certain things than other kids their ages). It has also actually been helpful to have kids of different ages because the younger kids learn things the older kids are learning. I know she also offers school pick ups and drop offs for school age children. Bottom line is that Little Handprints helped to develop my son into the articulate, extremely smart boy that he is. And he learned manners and how to pay attention etc. He had so much fun and loved being there. And most importantly, he was loved and cared for the entire time. And so without hesitation I would recommend Little Handprints. P.S. You also can't beat the price!
